This is the reality of climate science (hat tip to Andy Bunting for the link):
This is what RFK Jr believes about climate science, in his 2020 book:
To the best of my knowledge, as of this writing, RFK Jr is a climate fanatic. But, there is no climate crisis.
We’re inundated with information; so much is happening now. Corruption here, corruption there, 5G, Covid shots, climate, presidential runs, who’s the latest “controlled opposition,” etc., etc.
How did we get here, what’s going on, what’s the solution?
I don’t know. But, here are some thoughts.
Government corruption has always been a problem and the founding fathers of America were well aware of the dangers of government power over citizens, and therefore devised a means of “checks and balances” in an attempt to ensure that tyranny couldn’t take hold in America. But it seems that tyranny is in fact emerging through the back door of “medical necessity”; emergencies are the traditional go-to strategy of would-be tryants everywhere.
In essence, what emergency powers say is that the government must temporarily suspend rights, laws, freedoms, etc., in order to deal with a pressing issue.
So one solution to counter the back door that tyrants use is to simply abolish all emergency powers, and rely instead on the consent of the governed in those cases where true emergencies arise: voluntary cooperation, with no penalties for refusal. If the public has accurate information, most of us will do the right thing. If some don’t, then this is the price we pay to prevent tyranny, and it’s worth every single penny.
We have to get back to a place where individual self-determination is paramount and where this cannot be violated. This means giving power back to individuals to speak and act as they wish, within the broad confines of the law that prohibits such things as murder and theft, etc. So: no censorship, and no surveillance of citizens.
The danger I see with a RFK Jr presidency is that government will necessarily have to make dictates in order to counter climate catstrophe. The government will have to take control of our lives, and to say that we’ll have “free market” solutions would mean little if the government decides that one should be penalized for consuming too much, for example (i.e., the government will decide what societal goods it wants and doesn’t want, and these things are priced into the so-called “free market” that RFK Jr proposes.)
As we’re bombarded with information and news, I can’t help but think that the core issue is that we have to “just say no” to more government interference and oversight. Say no to censorship, say no to surveillance, and say no to any overarching “greater good” or great narrative that the government wants to impose on us, and recognize that we, each of us, know for ourselves what our own greatest good is. And, underlying all this, is the idea that we really are essentially good people and will do the right thing, if only those who lust after power and control could be sidelined from taking that power and control from we, the people.
Climate crisis is the emergency to end all emergencies. It’s perfect for the tyrant to end all tyrants, and no, I’m not saying that RFK Jr would be that tyrant. But, the president after him just might be.
I believe RFK Jr would be the perfect candidate to usher in a one-world government. For the greater good, of course. To save the very planet!!
Buyer beware.
I've arrived to the conclusion that I cannot -and will not- trust democrats. At the twilight of my life, the events carried by democrat, overwhelmingly, have been detrimental to our Republic and the its citizens. Now, the entire globe is suffering. RFK is deep into that doctrine (how can he not be) and as you pointed out the next 'weapon' in their lugubrious arsenal will be devastating. He wrote about it in his latest book; perhaps hoping that we'd think that 'the enemy of my enemy is my friend'. So many have been siding with him.
Climate has been one of their perpetual' repeatedly failed, prophesies. The ultimate weapon for their ambitious domain on humanity.
RFK is getting a pass on much, and lots of support, because of his vax stance which certainly resonates with many. But he has always been as crazy about climate as Birx was about covid -- and the ends will be worse. So agree...not having it.
